The hotel is in serious need of a remodel/upgrade. The staff were all great, but the conditions of the hotel were quite poor. When I got off the elevator on the floor my room was on, the ceiling height was maybe 7 feet tall, which made it feel claustrophobic in the hallways. When I got into the room, it was clear that nothing but perhaps the Keurig, TV, bedsheets and towels had been updated any time recently. The carpet, bed skirt, and all other furniture/decor were VERY old (late 70's early 80's is my guess). When I plugged my laptop and cell phone charing cords into the the outlets, most were VERY loose fitting and would barely stay in the wall. There was also no updated AC/Heat (such as a multi-split) in the room. The thermostat looked to be from the late 60's/early 70's. I turned it to cool, but the room stayed very warm all night (high 70's/low 80's). I felt the air coming out of the one vent near the ceiling and it continued to blow warm air all night. The room needed circulation though, so I kept it on. The area is also sketchy. I worried about my car getting broken into, but luckily it was fine out there. My only five star rating goes to the employees I interacted with. They did an amazing job with what they had to work with.
