The hotel is in a great location, is very clean and well presented. The staff are excellent. The pillows are extremely comfy. On this visit however I had 4 desert spoons, 1 fork and no knives! and did not fair much better with the crockery. There had also been a poor attempt to repair one of the legs of a chair in the room, and did not risk using it. I travel for work and when off the road need am working from a laptop. There are no powerpoints near the desk, an extension cord can be borrowed from reception, but creates a hazard across the room.

"Super neat motel!"
My mum and I stayed here for a night, when we arrived at the motel they've already turned on the heat pump for us! The room was decorated in a simple style but unique and tidy! I especially loved the wooden chairs and the canvas on the wall, also it was clean and the bed was comfy. The motel also provided DVDs and play station games, and bikes for people to use. I think it's the little things that really adds bonuses and give customers a good feel about their stay. Would definitely recommend this place to others and if ever traveling to Gisborne, I'll make this my top choice.
