Georgetown

Clean, quaint and historic, Georgetown is one of the oldest areas of D.C., but the vibe is decidedly youthful.

Georgetown University’s students spill onto the cobblestone streets and indulge in the neighbourhood’s many cafes, cupcake shops, and ice cream parlours, not to mention its rowdy pubs. It’s not all hustle and bustle in Georgetown, though. When you’re done shopping and nibbling baked goods, you can take a leisurely stroll through Georgetown Waterfront Park or Montrose Park, or shop ’til you drop at one of over 150 stores.
