I haven't been to the airport for years and all the roads etc have changed a bit so it took a bit of finding in the dark and rain. Once checked-in the place is really nice. Room was very clean and had everything we needed. The only negative was the shower over a bath. I don't understand why these places can't just have a normal shower.

Stamford Plaza staff are professional , friendly and offer a high level of customer service . Our suite was in excellent condition and we enjoyed our stay . Location wise it was a suitable choice for us for be close to the airport.

It was a very nice hotel & perfectly clean but to get from the terminal to the hotel was very tricky. It was raining & dark when we got into Sydney airport! We couldn't find the hotel anywhere. We asked a couple of people & they didnt know where it was. We even asked a taxi driver & he didn't know. I finally went into Rydges hotel & he said it was near to the domestic terminal & we were at the international terminal. We got ourselves to the domestic terminal & couldn't work out how to get there. I rang the hotel to ask if they had a courtesy bus & she gave me a phone number to ring which i did & we had to pay $24.00 for the 2 of us one way & then another $24.00 the next morning to get back to the terminal so factor this in when booking.

Good size room, thou only double beds, queen size would have been much better fit for the size of the room and for comfort. Only down side was the lighting was never dim, so another lamp or room light right be good. Nice place to stay.
