Loved the room & location good for event we attended. Check in is 3pm, but had to wait an extra 30 minutes as room not ready, toilet leaking & shower with mould. But overall an ok stay for 1 or 2 nights

The Meriton at waterloo is one of the best places we have stayed. The staff were all lovely and the room was amazing.

Look it’s not great, it definitely needs some love and not really worthy of a 5 star rating. Whilst it was good value for money, and is located a short walk from Coles and the SCG. I probably wouldn’t stay here again for a hand full of reasons. - the mobile reception with Optus and Telstra is poor, which is normally fine when wifi is available, but the wifi was poor and often unusable. - the condition of the bathrooms were a little worn. - they have onsite pools, gym and spa which are located in a building about 5 mins away. But the room keys don’t work, and nobody told us a seperate swipe was needed (which they had none of). - room cleaning is every 3rd day, and it’s barely a clean. They didn’t replenish any of the amenities, didn’t even replace toilet paper, which was empty… what’s the point of even entering the room if you’ve literally just put some stuff in the dishwasher and loosely made the bed.

The fridge had mold in it and the seal was half off. Sauce up the wall near the bin. Looked like the bedroom cupboards hadn’t been dusty in for ever. When I told and showed reception they did get someone to come and clean it but Wasn’t offered a discount or anything like that

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for the Pink Concert. Despite booking a room on the 4th floor for specific purposes, this request was missed. The team however were absolutely wonderful and made sure a room was made available for us on the 4th floor. As it was the pink concert there wasnt enough staff on for how many people were checking in which meant lengthy delays. We asked for extra towels and to have the beds split at 3pm but this didnt happen until around 8pm. The lift was impossible to deal with, with the large nu,ber of people booked in. Luckily we found the spare lifts in another building but these required you to go through some different doors and was not easy when dealing with luggage. Our living room sliding door lock was broken and the door was really hard to open so this needs to be fixed. The other issue with this property is the parking. I had no idea what spots we could actually park in!! So we just parked anywhere. The staff were the best thing about this hotel and nothing was too much for them!
