Nelson welcomed us and, from beginning to end, was a gentle and gracious host who served as concierge, chef, and manager. Owner Lucrezia and her hubby were present on the property. The room was spotless and comfortable. The decor and ambiance were minimal but elegant. The location was central to a variety of stores and restaurants; and there is a small store at the corner that sold water and snacks to take back to your room or along to your destination. We walked to and from the colosseum within 30-40 minutes. The Metro stations are a 10-15 min. walk away. Delicious Breakfast and dessert buffet await you. Quiet side street and strong AC to help relieve from the Roman Heat! If you bring a car, you won’t be able to find a spot in front of hotel. Inquire about parking venues. Overall stay was excellent.

Unique and wonderful experience in a former family residence. Nelson greeted me, explained how to use key card for gated entrance and use of the old-style elevators. Bed is very comfortable and amenities are great.

So charming!
A beautiful place to stay in a great location. The staff was very helpful and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Rome. The breakfast was so delicious made from ingredients on their farm. Absolutely loved it!

A real gem
What a lovely authentic little hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Situated on the 2nd floor so very quiet and relaxing. The room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast was amazing, using produce from the owners farm so tasty. Situated a brief walk away from the centre, there were still plenty of places to eat out on an evening. We especially liked Vladimiro just 2 minute walk away.

The room was so comfortable. It had every convenience. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was very nice. The homemade goodies and food was delicious. The staff really care to make your stay the best. The room was quiet all night which was unusual for Rome. Close enough to everything without the noise of the crowds. The manager personally took us to the airport early in the morning because a taxi was hard to get after a holiday. I would definitely stay here again. I’m sad we couldn’t stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at the Donna Lucrezia. The hotel is in a quiet street with several good restaurants within minutes. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly; particularly the manager, Nelson, who was always available to assist us.

We are so pleased to have stayed at Relais Donna Lucrezia! This hotel is everything you would want for an authentic Roman experience. The rooms are spacious and impeccably clean, with little antique touches. The dining area is lovely and offers a great breakfast with lots of variety, using ingredients from their family farm. All staff was welcoming, and Lucrezia herself went above and beyond to help us make travel accommodations to our next stop when we were in a rutt. Everything about this stay was absolutely lovely. *a restaurant around the corner called Ristorante Vladimiro is a must try!!

Overall Room is clean however the the location is not at the center of the city. The building is very close to the one next to it so its lack of privacy. We Lost one key and have to replaced with $5. Front desk is not 24/7. We will definitely stay at a 4 star or above hotel next time visit.

We enjoyed everything about the hotel and look forward to staying here again! We were upgraded to a wonderful room with a balcony. The bathroom facilities were the best we have had in Italy. Excellent, powerful shower, great hair dryer. Although we didn’t use all the toiletries, there were many. The breakfast had an amazing assortment, including delicious pasties & coffee as well as various proteins. Inside the room you can also make coffee or tea. Very friendly and kind family run, historic hotel. Convenient location.

This is a hidden gem. Good location and the management and staff are very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, including calling taxis and cars for airport transfers. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
