Wanted to stay closer to Mechanicsville, but those hotels were $70-$100 more expensive. This property looks like it has been renewed in the somewhat distant past, but it is still in good shape, and the room looks comfortable, and the staff are very pleasant. Breakfast was a little disappointing: waffles, pastries, cereal, fruit. No proteins, no eggs.

Thankfully, we were only there for 8 hours.
We were only there a few hours to catch an early fkight in the morning. The woman working the front desk was great--very friendly and upbeat. The room left a lot to be desired. We found a previous visitor's very smelly bed clothes in the bathroom. The chair and ottoman in the room had multiple stains. The bed spread smelled so bad, I had to move it away from my face when I slept. The bathroom was recently painted, but no touch up was done and the ceiling was not scraped prior to painting, so it's still peeling. Trash found in a drawer. Carpet in room and especially in hallway was dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone
