"Thanks for Cascade Garden Apartments "
Absolutely wonderful views from Cascade Gardens and excellent hospitality from Barry and Pamela who made me feel at home immediately. The apartment was booked as a "one bedroom" but in fact it was a studio room and therefore smaller than I expected, but nonetheless very comfortable, a peaceful location and lovely homely feel. I'd recommend this place to anyone seeking one of the best views from Norfolk Island.

As an isolated island, you'll find that Norfolk has a small town vibe, and most people who come here enjoy the peace and quiet. Whether it’s a wedding that brings you here, or a need to escape the city strain, this island will both chill and rejuvenate you, promise. Parallel with Queensland, it’ll come as no surprise to learn that Norfolk is also beautiful one day, perfect the next. With a subtropical climate, you’ll never face the winter chills here. Even the ocean is like a warm bath, and the temperature ranges from 19-22 degrees, perfect. With warm water, comes hot sports! On Norfolk you can choose from scuba diving, snorkelling or fishing, and when you’re done, crack open a cold one and watch the sun set with your mates. Here with the family? Take the kids to Emily Bay, a turquoise lagoon with clear, warm water that is great for snorkelling, and even better for sand side picnics.

The next day, go for a walk in the Norfolk Island National Park or explore the Kingston and Arthur’s Vale Historic Area on the southern part of the island. As one of the main attractions, this historic site tells the story of early Norfolk colonisation. With a cemetery, restored buildings and ruins, you can get a glimpse of what life was like for early convicts that were brought to the island. After, you can visit Fletcher's Mutiny Cyclorama, a 360 degree painting. As a huge panorama, you can follow the work around the room and take in the island's settlement story across a series of panels; a truly impressive piece of artwork. Norfolk Island has all makings of a great island holiday. So scroll down and take a look through our hotels in Norfolk Island, a unique experience awaits.
