This place was a very pleasant place to stay for the price point. An older building as most are in the French quarter could use some updates in the rooms. The courtyard was amazing, my wife and I spent a lot of time here and the restaurant/bar was nice. The bands were fun to watch at night and the bfast in the morning was more than expected. All together a nice trip.

The property is in a great location. Its right next to numerous restaurants and attractions, close enough to bourbon st. but still far enough away for it to be quiet. The staff was friendly and nice ad the book/courtyard onsite was nice. Some of the rooms (like ours) had a very short balcony railing, which isn't kid friendly, but others had taller ones. The internet and TV did not work either, so that was the biggest drawback, especially since we brought it up multiple times.

The fons could not call out. I tried 4 different rooms. The restaurant and bar were fulled closed except Sundays. ? The pool which was supposedly heated, was closed. Sad, Sad, Sad.

The hotel has a charm. I love how close it is to everything; we walked everywhere. We felt safe in and around the area. I loved that we were far enough to not hear noises. I would stay here again. My only complaint would be how unclean the room was. So we arrive and the young lady was not the most inviting nor informative. We were just informed it was a non-smoking facility and sent on our way. When we arrive at the room we start doing our normal cleaning before unpacking and realized the room was just not clean; as there were feathers, huge dust hairs, the bathroom floor hadn't been mopped it was black. So we go downstairs and the young lady (she never told us her name) did accommodate us by moving us to a new room and the room was cleaner than the last but still we found garbage and stuff, we just opted to clean it and keep the room. We are told to go check out the room first, our mistake was not taking all our things with us; we went to check the room and when we return to get our belongings out of the old room we had been locked out. Had to go back downstairs twice...this made the check-in process exhausting and upsetting. The hotel needs some updating, and it would be nice if we were told were to find the ice machine, were the store is located and why the pool was out of order. Other than that not so good start to our vacation we enjoyed our stay. The young lady was nice as well as the rest of the staff. Adding a microwave to the lobby would be great.

Overall the stay was agerage. For the room rates we paid, we could have had a much nicer place. We stayed there for 4 nights. The TV never did work. The staff always said they would send someone to our room to "reset" it....but after waiting on them ,,, no one ever showed up. The friendliness of the staff was "hit or miss" some people were friendly and helpful and others would roll their eyes and appear to be annoyed when we asked questions. If ypu want a room with the balcony, make sure it is over the courtyard. Itis very nice. Otherwise youll be on the street side with non stop noise and people in the street throwing things at ypur room.

This is an older property that needs some love. The rooms were clean and staff was nice. The carpet was worn, the Tv had kept having two different audio, the elevator made some scary noises, and the three flags hanging outside were in shreds.

Great hotel in great location. Far enough from Bourbon street to escape the noise but close enough to walk in just minutes. Courtyard was cozy and inviting. Staff were helpful and friendly!
