Nice enough place but the room needed a bit of TLC. Didn't have any toothpaste in the room either had to ask for some but they don't supply dental packs. also they no longer offer a gym. Nice and close to town.

My room was small and next to laundry which made it noisy, not only with dryers going next door but with sounds of water running through pipes and backflow sounds from the drain, etc. Fairly outdated facility but clean and tidy.

The 3-bedroom apartment was a good solution for 4 adults, it was clean with all of the basic facilities. The apartment was let down by not having black out curtains in one of the rooms. Also, even though it was a cold day there was no attempt to make the apartment cozy and warm by having the heat pump running before we arrived. It is very uninviting to walk into a cold space, either poor planning or too worried about cost over comfort. The oven was switched off and required me to get help from reception once I turned it on due to the clock needing to be set. Either include instructions in the room or leave it switched on and operable.

The property was great. Only thing was my communication through Wotif email didn’t register and so we got a unit upstairs but I can’t walk stairs! Grateful they gave us another unit downstairs but was queened instead of king bed and still a couple of steps to get to our room. Obviously communication through Wotif doesn’t work. Same thing happened in Picton and now I called Westport straightaway who also had us on the first floor but kindly changed it to the accessible unit downstairs.

The apartment we stayed in for 3 nights was nice and spacious. Parking is convenient and good location. It also has a small pool which the kids have enjoyed. However, the window tracks are a bit dirty and would need a bit of cleaning.
