Our Napoli stay
We had planned a 10 day visit to Napoli after our cruise. We were a little apprehensive at first but Federico & Vittoria were so helpful and made our side trip a success. They greeted us at the door, helped us settle in and provided some great eating and visiting suggestions. During our stay they responded to our needs quickly. Their facility is a great location with access to bus/train/airport. Our apartment was clean and well equipped - everything one needs. We would strongly recommend this location if you want a wonderful stay in Napoli! Thx again for making our stay a success!

Fantastic location - very easy to find and the place had heaps of character and was clean with all the amenities you could need. Hosts were very communicative and welcoming. Highly recommend if looking for somewhere central in Naples as close to station if you are wanting to take day trips.

Quirky decor and dream location for archeology geeks!
If Naples is your HQ for seeing tutti scavi: Pompei, Ercolano, Baia etc by public transit (to avoid the terrors of driving in Naples) this apartment across from the station is perfet The hosts are delightful; you can speak Italian with Frederico and Vittoria speaks English too so there's always someone with whom you can communicate. They have good suggestions like getting your cappuccino and sfogliatelle from Granato downstairs. They can also explain how to get to various locations in the region. They apartment itself isn't fancy, but it also isn't one of those VRBOs that looks like it was decorated by a rental company. Instead, every day you discover some new quirky antique item. For example, not is there a vintage Olivetti typewriter, there's actually a vintage Olivetti adding machine as well! But in the kitchen, it's all very functional, so don't worry that the stove is an antique. (I did once have to figure out an antique stove in a VRBO!) The fridge works, the stove works, the washing machine works, and there are at least 3 sizes of "volcano" coffee makers. The bathroom is fine and the shower works. The bed is comfy but could use a couple more pillows. The neighborhood is gritty. If you are a city person, used to SF and NY it won't freak you out. Da Donato around the corner is both a lovely trattoria for a special meal and a place to pick up a delicious pizza. Try Naples' famous pizza fritta at La Masardona a few blocks away. Grazie mille Frederico & Vittoria!

Stunning place in Naples
A stunning property with lots of space. We loved the atmosphere of the home. Federico and Vittoria were incredible hosts, helpful and very welcoming. The place is very close to the station / metro to get around the city and elsewhere. Felt like we were in a palace and we loved playing the piano at night.

Fabulous Apartment in Napoli!
This is a wonderful apartment! The bedrooms are huge. The AC works well [extremely important!]. It is well-appointed. Beds are comfy. It's two flights up, but there is an elevator. Our hosts were extremely responsive and friendly! The apartment was build in the early 1800's. The walls are very thick, and, since it predates indoor plumbing, the bathroom must have been an update. The kitchen and bathroom work well. Has a microwave, which means you don't have to heat up the whole kitchen to get hot water for tea etc. The apartment is a short walk from the Metro [and it's the end of the line, so you almost always get a seat!]. From there, you can get anywhere in the city. There's a grocery store at the Metro terminal, so you can always pick up a couple of things on the way home. It's also less than a block from the train that takes you to Pompeii and Herculaneum. The neighborhood has shops, street vendors, and quite nice cafes for pastries and coffee. I must also mention this restaurant: Ristorante Avellinese. It's a short walk away, serves good food, has indoor seating with very good AC, and the prices are [no exaggeration] half of what we paid elsewhere [order the lemon dolce for dessert!]. There is some street noise at night, but it really didn't bother us. I would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful apartment full of character
The block the apartment is in is nearly 200yrs old & like a lot of blocks in Naples could do with a little TLC, you need to keep an open mind about that, however once inside - you enter a very large apartment (I’ve seen studios smaller than the either of the bedrooms!) which oozes bucket loads of charter. We loved it. It is on a busy road, however it didn’t bother us at all. The location is best described as true Naples and not the harmonised ‘hotel’ sort of area, it may not be for everyone but if you want to see a real slice of Neapolitan life….There are plenty of little family trattoria in the area, we didn’t manage to have a single meal that wasn’t wonderful, as an added bonus if you come out the main entrance turn right and go to the 1st café you find you will have possibly one of the best coffees of your life! Also you will be under a half hour walk from 2 of the top 10 Pizzerias in the world Vittoria & Federico are wonderful hosts, more than happy to make lots of very helpful suggestions and it was actually a wrench to say goodbye when it was time to leave, we would go back just to say hello!
