Never again. Disgusting.
This property on reality looks nothing like the advert and utterly misleading to the public. I feel totally let down by the photos on the booking site and question where their responsibility is to ensure people are not mislead. This hotel is really tired and unkempt. Thread bare stair carpets and broken spindles, no handle on our bedroom door, unable to lock at night, very scary, no soap, no shampoos, no hair dryer, no hand towels, no tea/ coffee or even glassware for a drink of water. Curtains barely hanging, heavily stained, stained furniture, stained carpets and headboard,, filthy mattress, and greasy hand and dubious body stains on the paint work. Leaky tap and shower head unclean. Generally grubby. We checked out early after 1 night and had to find another hotel for the second night. Shame I am limited to how many photos I can add.

The hotel requested a 50 GBP deposit upon check in and not one single employee could be found the day I checked out to refund this. A note at the reception desk said to leave the key and I would be refunded. 20 days after check out the hotel has NOT refunded me and they have ignored all my emails. Expedia is trying to get the hotel to refund this to me. Also: my bedroom door knob was lying on the floor outside my bedroom for my entire 15 night stay. I was told it would be fixed (attached to the door) but it never was. Also: I was told initially on arrival that an early check in would be 100 GBP but finally got that reduced to 20 GBP. Also: the breakfast "room" had a single 4 slice toaster for use by all the guests in the hotel. 2 of the 4 toaster slots stopped working 5 days into my stay and was not fixed or replaced before I checked out. Customer service is NOT seen at this hotel. BEWARE AND book elsewhere.

Worst hotel ever. Avoid!
We weren’t expecting too much for the price however the room we were given was appalling. Tucked at the back of the bottom floor the room looked out onto the bins in the court yard, the lock on the door was broken and the window wasn’t secure. The carpet was all ripped up and there were some very interesting scratch marks in the leather chair… The general cleanliness was poor and the hotel was very dated. We actually asked for another room as we didn’t feel the one we were given was secure. We did get moved but for an extra £100 (that they asked for in cash..). The second room was far better security wise but was still pretty dirty and dated. Upon arrival they ask you for a £50 deposit which with the state of the rooms is disgusting. We made sure to take pictures of everything. They also note down your card details (for the deposit return) which feels very sketchy. Overall I would not recommend. Just pay that little extra for a decent hotel, this is not worth it. Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

It took awhile for our rooms to be sorted believe we were given worst rooms as we are in workwear. Rooms not as fresh as pictures actually really dated. Couldn't turn heat down on the shower, carpet was dirty hairs and stains everywhere.

I’m aware you only get what you pay for … the hotel was very shabby and dated carpet in the room was threadbare rooms were very grubby and drab with a large air conditioning unit inn the room rooms were not serviced as stated there was no toiletries as stated no toilet roll it was very disappointing would not stay again they need to update description of hotel on site it really is false advertising
