We had booked a Deluxe room with twin beds at this property. It was our first time at this hotel.
On first look the room seemed fine, however after staying in the room for a couple of hours it was clear that the air conditioner was not going to cool the room down sufficiently, and we were both sweating profusely.
In addition to this, the bathroom was very dimly lit and there was a fair amount of mould in the grouting.
We went to reception and asked if we could look at a different room, but they said there were none to show us. We asked if we could look at an upgraded room, however after awhile it was clear that this new upgraded room was also hot and wasn’t going to be suitable either. We decided to stay the night in the original room and then left the hotel the next day, forfeiting the money we had paid for it.
The staff insisted we speak to the manager before we left, and she said she could have offered us a couple of different rooms, but it was too late for us.
We then checked into another hotel that we already know which has lovely cool rooms. So important when it’s blazing hot outside.
