We had bugs crawling through our beds. One of our lights was broken. The stairs up to our room were falling apart and were dangerous. The person who checked us in was difficult to communicate with and he was dressed unprofessionally.

Centrally located on a busy commercial street of the town, but still very quiet and private with easy off-street front-of-room parking. Coffee shops / cafes and a bakery next to / opposite the motel entrance, with easy walking to all sorts of shops and the main street. Friendly helpful staff (I had a late check-in). Spacious, clean, comfortable room - older style bathroom but everything was well maintained, clean and fresh.

Didn’t like that there were small bugs in the unit, but apart from that the unit was clean Also that the light switch was above the shaving cabinet and so I had to stand on the shower hop to be able to switch it on/ off. Certainly not OHS compliant.

Hi Kathryn, I'm sorry this occurred, if only you had come to reception with your worries, I could have seen to your issues or even when you returned the keys to me yesterday, but nothing was mentioned. We regularly have our rooms sprayed, so once again sorry this occurred, in the future it might help to speak to the staff instead of after the fact posting a review without giving the property a chance to correct this for you. I have stayed here for a little over a week and I really enjoyed my stay. The staff are all great and lovely, the housekeeping staff are really helpful. I felt very welcome and comfortable staying there alone. The price of the motel is pretty cheap and would recommend to anyone. The only thing is that the place could use a bit of an update as it’s very old and some things are outdated. Other than that very pleased with my stay and thank you to all the wonderful staff!
