While the lobby, exterior and hallways appear updated, the double queen room I had was aged and musty. Honestly, my first thought was that it smelled of 20 year old cigarette smoke. There are no USB ports in the room so plan accordingly. WIFI in my room only had 2 bars. This was way over priced for the amenities offered at $126 a night, should have been well below $100.
The free breakfast was so-so, some cold breakfast sandwiches that could be microwaved, cold cereal dispenser, packets of oatmeal, and there is a hot pancake machine. Coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby but it is frankly terrible coffee.
I should add that I reserved a King but was put into a double Queen. By the time I got to my room I was so tired that I was glad I had a room and crashed for the night.
I'll find other options should I need to stay in Broken Bow again.
