There’s no room service or minbar. Very odd. The location is fantastic and convenient. I would stay there again but it’s not cheap.

Stayed in the Penthouse. We were very disappointed with our stay at this property. Upon checkin, there were price issues with the room and it was settle by the manager. Carpet, drapes, couches, tubs, toilets, and chairs all stained badly or ripped. We had the housekeeping manager look at the room and she agreed the room should not have been rented. We were given a small credit for this issue too. The Hyatt should be ashamed of how the property is unkept.

The oceanfront view from our room was incredible, i wasnt expecting it to be quite so breathtaking, i spent alot of time watching the surfers and ocean - different,beautiful shades of blue throughout the day! and worth every extra penny, just gorgeous! the complimentary water bottles were a nice touch!. The breakfast was incredible our first am - blew us away!!. We felt the extra cost of the VIP lounge was very convenient also - free drinks, snacks, meals. Free entertainment - shows in lobby certain nights - hawaiian dancers, hula, fire jugllers, etc. One of my complaints is that we were not aware or given a schedule, so ask for one apon check in if not offered. Very close Walking distant to alot of conveniences, shopping, beach accross the street, etc. my teenagers (13 & 16 years) preferred to stay here over Aulani (we stayed 5 nights after staying here 3 nights). Would definately stay again and upgrade to oceanfront view!

Great,Great Location. Hotel Room is very old! You pay for the location but at these prices, they can afford updates. Celeberating a special Anniversary and expected a more modern room. We had them to change our beddings because it was soiled at the bottom! WE almost changed rooms which we're happy we didn't because of the location. Daily Resort fee of $56 , was over kill and will be reported to Expedia. However, the staff and facilities were great.

The staff was great and very kind. The location is amazing, very central and easy walking distance to many Waikiki locations. The room was clean and spacious. However, the rooms were older and in need of maintenance. Our tub didn’t drain well at all, the sink was smelly and there was a lot of chipped or peeling paint throughout the room/bathroom and balcony. Overall, it was a great location and the atrium were awesome- just the rooms need a bit of help.

Nice hotel, reasonable price, great location.
The hotel is very large with a big big lobby, shopping area. The location is great- on the nicer end of waikiki and we had a nice view of the ocean from our 19th floor room. Our room was properly cleaned early in the day. By the time we were back from breakfast it was clean. The elevators are awful! You have to wait in line to get on them and sometimes go through two or more elevators filling up before you can get on one. For several hours on one day the hotel had computer issues and nothing could be checked at the front desk. The elevators were not working at all and they had to escort people up a service or emergency elevator. The staff WAS trying to help. Beware the high resort fee. Worse is the $70/night valet service. If you self-park (in the same lot as the valet) you will pay $55/night but they ran out of self-park spots twice on this trip even though we had paid for 24 hours self-park. The valets switched us over to valet park both times because that was the only way to get into the parking garage. The front desk was accomodating when I went up there to fix this and only charged us for the self-park.
