"Gorgeous b & b, close to beach and hot springs"
Only 5 minute drive from hot springs. Amazing breakfast and wonderful hosts. Very tasteful and modern decor. We stayed in the loft which has a separate bathroom, wasn't a problem though. Gorgeous gardens and surrounds. Bed and pillows super comfy, very relaxed after our short stay. Will definitely come again!

"Absolutely loved it."
This hotel is wonderful. We had such an amazing time. I will admit to being a little upset at first as we thought we had a room with a bath tub but it didn't matter. We loved our stay and would definitely stay again.

    Pocket Guide: Cape Schanck

The Mornington Peninsula is famous for stunning seaside views. But if you like your coastal beauty rugged and remote, it’s tough to beat Cape Schanck. With spectacular coastal scenery, a lighthouse with amazing views, a golf course and a whole peninsula full of other attractions, you’ll have plenty to explore when you book a Cape Schanck hotel with us!

Built from local limestone in 1859, Cape Schanck Lighthouse is the second lighthouse built in Victoria. It’s also Cape Schanck’s star attraction! Cape Schanck doesn’t have much in the way of shops or restaurants, but luckily nearby towns like Flinders and Rosebud have everything you need for a good meal or a shopping trip. Cape Schanck’s strong point is its powerful natural sights, and a lighthouse and beach walk is an absolute must-do! Take in the crisp peninsula air as you follow a staircase and boardwalk down to the beach and rock pools. There are plenty of lookouts to admire the view from, and one sight you can’t miss – probably literally – is Pulpit Rock, a stone outcrop that stands tall and mighty at the Cape’s very tip.

The lighthouse includes a museum and the home of the former lighthouse keeper, and guided tours are available every day. Love a good walk? Take on the 2.6km long Bushrangers Bay, with sweeping coastline, headland views and heaps of bird life. If golf is your game, head to the Cape Schanck Golf Course, which has 18 holes and even more ocean views.

Getting sick of the ocean? The rest of the Mornington Peninsula is a delight to explore as well, with heaps of boutique shopping, restaurants and wineries. If you feel like a coffee, fish and chips or some shopping, Rosebud is only an 11minute drive away. Book your Cape Schanck accommodation with us – and get a flight to Melbourne if you need one too! You haven’t properly seen the Mornington Peninsula until you’ve seen the farthest, wildest point: Cape Schanck!
