Pros:
- Great staff and bartenders. Everyone is very friendly and kind. Some superstar bartenders we had are: Gustavo, Antonio, Hilda, Jesus, Eduardo, and Joel. Everyone who worked at Mike's coffee shop made us laugh and smile
- Close proximity to the beach
- There was always entertainment
Cons:
- Room on 4th floor shower took 10 minutes to get hot water
- Odd timing for food service. 11:30 to 12:30 the buffet is closed. Restaurants open at 5:30 pm so there is not a lot of food services between 3:00 - 5:30.
- NOT ALLERGY FRIENDLY. We had a member of our group have an allergic reaction to nuts at a restaurant. They ask for food allergies during check-in, at the hostess stand, and the servers. She was still served something with nuts which resulted in her needing to see the physician at the resort. There are no nut icons or any ingredients stating nuts on their menus.
- Linens and cutlery were dirty. Stains on the couch and linens were found in our room.
- Outside shower facilities were not working. Only 1 worked on the whole property when coming from the beach to the pool.
- Lots of people trying to sell experiences, temporary tattoos, etc to you while by the pool.
*On a side note - DO NOT book travel with MTS. We booked a private roundtrip transfer. We did not get a private transfer from the airport to the resort. Coming back the driver left us at the wrong terminal and then we had to pay $50 USD to take a taxi to the right terminal.
