Desert Sand Motor Inn

"Great Location"
Nice central location. Rooms were big and clean. Fridge didn't seem to work that well as it didn't freeze our freezer pack. It was a new one though. The lady on the front desk was friendly however she was a bit busy doing paperwork for the boss when we were asking her for info of things to do around town. The pegged curtains in the front family room didn't block out the neon sign out the front so there was a fair bit of light coming through at night. Overall it wasn't that bad and would probably stay there again. Just not in the front room.

"Better than the rest"
I have stayed in a few places around broken hill for work and I now only stay here as it's comfortable and reasonably priced. The staff are really friendly and willing to help out wherever they can. The only thing was it was a very cold night and I had to block the bottom of the door to stop the freezing cold air from coming in. I had the heater cranked right up and until blocking the door still felt cold.

"Clean and comfortable"
We were accommodated in the units across the road from the main motel. They were clean and comfortable and of a good standard. Added extras like a set of crockery and cutlery were a very welcomed inclusion.

No problems other than only one teabag and no biscuits. This may have been an oversight but a cup of tea after a long road trip and one in the morning is something fairly basic.
