This was a nice hotel in a convenient location near the freeway, downtown, and the university. Nice continental breakfast. Only downside when we were there - the pool area was closed and room 201 (where we were) should be the LAST room they rent out each night. The lights from the valet area outside shine directly into this room making it light all night. Not ideal!

it would be really nice if Expedia or La Quinta would inform you that the hot tub is out of order BEFORE you book a non-refundable room. After a long day of packing up my late father in laws house all I wanted was to sit in the hot tub but when we got here it was drained of water...but we couldnt choose another hotel because La Quinta doesnt give refunds.
