Room was clean and tidy. However, I booked and paid for a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 people but only one bed was made when we arrived. I had to pay extra for more bed linen which hadn’t arrived by the time we left the cabin for the afternoon. When we got back late that night the linen was there but the bed hadn’t been made and there was only a light blanket and a single sheet. The weather was cold so luckily there was a spare blanket in the cupboard but it was still too cold over night and I had to put in extra clothes to stay warm.

Caravan Park close to Bendigo

Pros: Convenience to where we needed to go.
Cons: For the benefits we had there was little else we wanted.
The Unit in the Caravan Park is close to Bendigo, has a supermarket nearby and a cafe next door whose food is good. The nearby old Calder Highway is busy during the day but quieter at night.

great caravan park close to shops

Cons: the front door was a bit hard to close i think the weather seal needed to be adjusted
Location: very close to a good super market
i stayed there for 2 nights the cabin was very good on the second night i had my 2 grandsons stay they love the pool and the play ground. the young lady in the office was very help full.

An over night stop.

We needed somewhere to stay fit a family event. No great distance from the hwy. Clean, quiet and warm for a very cold day. No hesitation in recommending Avondel caravan park if you need a place to stay while traveling

Cabins and Caravans

Pros: Pet and people friendly
Cons: All Okay apart from the hard bed

Conveniantly situated close enough to Bendigo. The room size and kithchen essentials in our cabin were adequate, The double bed was shorter than the average bed andthe mattress is very hard. Very reasonably priced especially for a family with children, or 2 couples, but perhaps pricey for a single and a couple. The Cafe next door is very conveniant for "light" meals ( a huge hamburger with the lot @7-50 was wonderful). It was like stepping back into the distant past when one got value for a dollar. Nice swimming Pool and large grounds.
