Two-room guest suite with private entrance located in picturesque Catonsville, MD on a pre-Colonial road originally used for rolling tobacco to the harbor. Downtown Baltimore is 20 minutes away, BWI airport and Amtrak station 15 minutes, and our street is located on a bus route. Beautiful 3.5 mile walk to historic Ellicott City and an hour from Washington, D.C. Individuals and families welcome!

My wife and I recently stayed here while we were in town visiting our daughter, her husband and our the grand kids. We were very happy with its convenient location and beautiful outdoor space. The entrance at the back of the house is adjacent to a beautiful and well-maintained garden, complete with a peaceful pond and a clean, inviting pool. The outdoor seating area was a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Sitting and listening to the birds while we had coffee was a highlight. The interior was just as welcoming, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cal and Colleen were attentive and considerate, ensuring that our stay went well. We appreciated the calm and beauty of the place and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay with hospitable hosts.

Lovely Grounds
The location is very convenient and the entrance is in the rear of the house where the gardens, tranquility pond, pool, outdoor seating are beautiful! The space is accommodating and the hosts are exceptional and thoughtful to details. The snacks were gobbled up by all of us so thank you for those! The 5 year old enjoyed the outdoor playground and swing. A sweet spot!

This was our second time at The Rollingside Suite. It's perfect for the two of us. Colleen and Cal have a beautiful home and yard. We enjoyed the back patio and garden with our morning coffee, listening to the birds. The guest suite is near the Trolley Trail, which is also great for birding! We walked the Trolley Trail to historic Ellicott City. Had lunch at The Trolley Stop. Thanks, Cal and Colleen, for another lovely time. It was short but sweet this year. As long as our kids are located in Baltimore, this is are great spot for us to stay! Amy and Tom VT

Wonderful Spot!
Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Rollingside Suite. Our hosts were so kind to our kids. The playset and swing were great, the jetted tub was awesome, and the outdoor space was beautiful. Every detail was well thought out and it was immaculately clean. The complimentary coffee and snacks were appreciated! It is clear that Cal and Colleen put a lot of care and time into this lovely place!

Absolutely lovely little suite in great location. Cal and Colleen could not have been more gracious, accommodating, or kind! The suite was perfectly equipped and comfortable. The library was amazing, full of informative books. Oh, and the backyard was gorgeous, with beautiful greenery, spots to relax, and a very nice pool. Parking was easy. I will stay at Rollingside again!

Cal and his wife did an absolute great job setting up this rental. They were extremely helpful at helping us find local hot spots and extremely accommodating. The place was immaculately clean. Pool was great and refreshing. They had everything there for our little getaway. We felt extremely safe there too even being so close to Baltimore. Price is great too! Look no further!

Absolutely wonderful place!!
My mom and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend to see family and it was perfect! Very clean, the beds were comfortable and everything you need. Cal and Colleen have a beautiful property to look at and listen to the birds in the morning. We really enjoyed it here and are already talking about future stays!! Recommend!

The Rollingside guest suite was perfect for us. Clean, cozy rooms. Beautiful back yard. Attentive hosts. Cal and Coleen were very welcoming and helpful. Cal shared with us some interesting history of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed the Trolley Trail and Historical Ellicott city. Also had some beautiful bird sightings. A very nice property with lots of great books and games on hand. The apartment is connected to the main building but has separate entrance and sitting area. The apartment has a wood burning fireplace. We were there after previous guests had a fire. The apartment was a little smokey smelling. I did not object, another renter might.

Great stay
I had a wonderful stay with my 8-year-old son while my oldest was away at a sports camp at Towson University. Rental had everything we needed and the space felt like home while we had movie and game nights together. The back was was beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool during the late afternoon. Centrally located and easy to get to surrounding towns and activities.
