Wouldn't book as part of a fun vacation in Ashevil
Country Inn & Suites Asheville Downtown Tunnel Rd is pretty generic. On the plus side, it's clean, quiet, and in fairly good shape. The location is convenient, but the Inn is tucked behind a pretty sketchy Waffle House. On the negative, the halls & stairways have a stale smell kind of like an assisted living home, and they pipe out this loud, terrible music by the outside entrance. Both were more annoying than I would have expected. The bed wasn't especially comfortable. It's okay if you need a place to stay while looking for a home or visiting relatives, but I wouldn't book as part of a fun vacation in Asheville.

The property was very clean and in phenomenal condition. It was extremely easy to get to Asheville and the Biltmore from the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful.

Indoor pool is not usable
It says indoor pool but the water is NOT heated! It was freezing cold. If you are planning family time in the pool it is not going to happen before summer.
