"Comfortable appartment accommodation close to city"
I stayed in this appartment-style accommodation as it offered a reasonable rate, within walking distance to the CBD, because I had a conference at another hotel in the city, which was overpriced. It was a great location, with comfortable furnishings (albeit a little 'tired') and a wonderful sense of space. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to where I needed to be, and the bed and chairs were very comfortable. It also offered cloakroom storage for the day upon my checkout which I appreciated very much.
However, I was too afraid of open cooking despite good kitchen facilities, as the staff, waiver, signs and compendium all stress that if you make the fire alarm go off, you will have to pay a lot of money. I was even worried about the kettle boiling for too long! There is no fan in the bathroom, which would help in reducing steam (there are warning signs about that too). Also, on my last night there, the T.V turned itself on at 5 am, which put the wind up me a bit! I found it unusual to have to empty my own rubbish at the end of my stay.
Overall, a comfortable, convenient, reasonably priced place to stay, and I would stay there again. I would recommend it overall, just don't go expecting it to be five star accommodation.
