Nice hotel with variable service

The hotel is in a great location, very convenient to everything. Easy to walk to all the Stone Town attractions. Good restaurants near by. Great gelato and coffee from an Italian place around the corner. Watch the sunset from the terrace that backs right onto the beach. Perfect! Some rooms are getting old and are very small. I had to insist before I was given a room I actually paid for, king bed, balcony. Had to speak to the manager before any action was taken. The manager is more customer focused, so all is well that ends well. The breakfast is Ok, but if you want good coffee need to look elsewhere.
