Really loved our room. Service was an issue as far as getting our room cleaned in a timely manner. If we weren’t awake at 9 am when they tried to come in our room. I would put out the dnd sign then remove it when we left around 10 everyday. They wouldn’t. Clean or stock our room saying a picture was taken of the DND sign. I said that was out long enough for us to wake up and shower.

Property has nice beach. Food was decent. The hospitality and service is extremely poor. Had to chase down housekeeping to get necessities. Housekeeping would come in and make bed, leave trash cans overflowing, not replenish towels or toilet paper, etc. It says you can submit requests online (which we did), however we never got our supplies. Were told that there were no available towels or wash cloths and they were “drying”. How does a resort like this that is not at capacity run out of towels?? Not enough staff to service meals.. this allows pigeons to flock all over food next to you and walk all over tables. Tables were not cleaned in between guests and just a quick wipe and replenished silverware. Gross.

I did not like the out door food area do to the pigeons eating out the same tray's that the servers put out for the people. Not only that ,the pigeons were walking on top the serving utensil. I find that on sanitary. The ladies that work that area ignore the pigeons. Another thing that I saw was that allot of tables had dirty plates and no one came to clean the tables. I saw all this on my first day. I rate this area ( F ). I never went back there again. Do to the pigeon I think that the area need to be enclosed to keep them off the food.

The property is beautiful and our room was beautiful and clean, but the service from check-in to the staff was poor. It's because of the service they are getting 3 stars. Only a handful of the staff made me feel special.

Mangrove was nice although the restaurants were small with limited seating. All the restaurants were open air with great views of the sea. The Buffet was always busy because of the limited seating in the other restaurants.
