Absolutely gorgeous - location and hotel, it’s beautiful! Staff were always willing to assist and the room was very Venetian along with a private water taxi to and from the airport made it more special!

We stayed for 3 nights at hotel Colombina. Pros: Walkable to every part of Venice, nice room, quiet. View was nice, could see the Bridge of Sighs. Reception was friendly. Cons: Breakfast was pretty bad. Limited selection and food was fresh. For example we ate Bread that was hard and stale. Lettuce leaves were wilting and not fresh. Yogurt was hard and dry with Granola that was mushy. Room cleanliness was not great. Rubbish that was on the floor from the previous occupants was still there until the last day that we left the room. It was obviously not cleaned. Hair on the basin, Hair on the bathtub from the housekeeping. Hair on the toilet floor was not cleaned and was still there throughout our stay. Coffee, shower amenities and water were not replenished throughout our stay.

Don't miss the bar in this lovely hotel with the most accommodating staff. We still talk about the bar food. We were without our luggage for our stay, and they were kind enough to help us call the Venice airport, as our Italian is limited. Great location and definitely take the hotel arranged water taxi from the airport. Will stay here again on our next trip.
