The front desk people, upon check in and check out, were so incredibly, polite, charming and helpful. They made us feel as though we were somehow special and provided an unasked for upgrade. Any little question or issue we faced during our stay (We couldn’t figure out how to use the TV remote control) was dealt with immediately…with grace & courtesy. Renovations to rooms have been made recently, in much of the hotel. Our room was lovely. It had a small kitchenette with kettle, coffee-maker, microwave, 4 plates and cutlery. The bed was so comfortable we slept late. They had a selection of pillows of varying softness. And…they provided those big soft cozy bathrobes that we only get at good hotels. The only reason I gave the hotel a 4 star review was because the shower in our room did not work. (They showed concern and made note of that for repairs) It’s a 5-15 minute walk to most restaurants and theatres.
