“Kunnampath Heritage Nalukettu” is a 200-year-old standalone property with a Padippura meaning a traditional gateway on a path leading to the main building. There is a variety of traditional fruit-bearing plants and medicinal herbs within the premises. Located about 1.5KM from the city center and downtown, it is easily accessible. East fort junction is about 750 meters away which has a variety of dining. Property has a basement, which was an Armoury, Ground floor, mezzanine, first floor, and an attic.

The structure is a classic Kerala style called the “Nalukettu”. Nalukettu is a traditional name of old Tharavadu (Ancestral name) where many generations of a matrilineal family lived. In simple terms, it just means a residence with one inner courtyard. It is built according to the science of architecture “Kumara Thachusastra “ otherwise called “Vasthu”.
