Four of us spent a night here and really enjoyed our brief stay in Sundsvall at the Knaust Hotel. The building has been lovingly restored and is clearly a local institution. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed drinks in the Bishops Arms bar and breakfast was excellent, served in a very imposing wood panelled room. We explored Sundsvall and if time allows I’d recommend a climb to see the open air museum at Norre Bergett. Great views. If you are looking for a comfortable and well priced place to stay in Sundsvall, look no further.
