The staff was very kind and we were granted access to towels and linens as needed and/or had the option to leave them outside to get new ones delivered. The outdoor amenities were maintained well.
Our room was outdated, which was no issue in and of itself, but was not maintained well. We considered finding a new place to stay throughout our first night as it just didn’t feel clean. The towels and linens are were stained. We laid our own beach towels across the pillows to sleep. There was rust on shelves, doors, locks, etc. The shower floor was dirty and concerned us enough to buy shower shoes. There is a small kitchenette that we did not use and a mini fridge that did allow us to keep small food or liquids.
We didn’t feel comfortable unpacking our clothes as the only rod to hang them was in the kitchen area (though there were no hangers). There was an iron that we had to clean as it was dirty, however no ironing board.
Once we cleaned up, we were able to stick it out. With that said, we specifically ensured full days planned off of the resort to avoid it as there wouldn’t have been a comfortable spot to relax in our room if we were there.
The employre we dealt with in the office was very kind and helpful when we had questions. Parking was limited, but worked out fine for us! They also had additional parking across the street if needed, thought we always found a spot!
