The room smelt terribly of smoke despite being a no-smoking room. It was so bad to the point that my bag even smelt of it when I left. The room was very dated, bar closed very early.

A budget hotel, what do you expect for the money!
A cheap and reasonable place to stay, room cleanliness not the best, toe nail clippings and sanitary towel in bathroom bin, not emptied. Seems the room also only gets cleaned when you leave or if you ask at reception.

perfect start to new years, good pints too
This is a beautiful place with lots of facilities available. reception and bar staff were polite and welcoming, especially the reception staff. The room was clean, a few scuffs like gum on the carpet but otherwise the room itself was perfect, the bath was wonderful, too.
