We booked for 7 nights in August 2018 but only stayed for 5
Negatives The rental is on first floor of a large house tenants live on the ground floor you just need to be aware of this which is not clear upon first review The major problem is the accommodation is old and tired and requires major update. In particular the bed mattresses are awful. To the extent that after a few days all of the family were complaining of aches and not enjoying a good nights sleep. The accommodation also does not have any fans so can be uncomfortable at night. Hence our decision to leave early Positives Location is beautiful and the terrace is lovely. Lots of activities with lake close by plus rafting which was great with kids. Unfortunately this does not compensate for the poor internal accommodation

Excellent séjour
La maison est idéalement située pour séjourner dans la région. Elle est à 30min de tous les points à visiter dans les alentours, de la cote basque au début des Pyrénées, avec des visites et activités pour tous, en passant par la gastronomie. Maison propre, grande et bien équipée (cuisine, billard, piscine, table de ping pong...). Elle est située au calme et permet de bien se reposer également. La déco ressemble à celle de mes grands parents et n'est pas au goût du jour, mais ce n'est pas une surprise car les photos sont nombreuses. Si l'on sait y faire abstraction les moments de convivialité restent nombreux. Très bon contact avec le propriétaire. Je recommande.

Un endroit plein de charme
Bonjour Il y a deux manières d’émettre un avis . Soit on énumère les caractéristiques de l’endroit soit on apprécie le moment passé Si on part sur le premier critère et si on s’attend à des prestations de type hôtel c’est qu’on a pas bien lu l’annonce. C’est un appartement dans une maison qui a le charme de l’ancien avec ses qualités et ses défauts L’emplacement est juste fabuleux. Il fait très bon vivre dans cette demeure qu’il faut apprivoiser. Vous serez à la campagne avec les animaux à vos fenêtres et pourrez organiser vos journées entre randonnées en montagne , visites culturelles, plage pour farniente, plage pour le surf ou piscine !! Et tout ça à moins de 30 min Merci à Marie-Antoinette pour son accueil et sa gentillesse Nous avons passé un excellent moment en famille Merci Alain Cordialement

Une belle région mais...
Dans l'ensemble la maison à pu tous nous accueillir. Cependant, il y a eu quelques défauts. Dans l'annonce il est noté que les serviettes sont fournies ce n'est pas le cas, un sèche cheveux également mais il y en a plus... La literie serait peut être à repenser surtout pour le lit bébé ainsi que la sécurité car l'enfant en bas âge se coinçait toutes les nuits dans les barreaux du lit, pour les adultes on a l'impression de dormir sur des matelas à eau. Pour ce qui est de la propreté à chaque ustensiles ou plats qu'on utilisait, on était obligé de bien les relancer car tout était gras. Pour la piscine, pas de sécurité enfant (pour une maison familiale) le liner couper au milieu et c'est la personne sur place qui nous a informé qu'il y avait un petit problème au niveau de la piscine en attente du pisciniste, on aurait apprécié que le propriétaire nous prévienne avant c'est la moindre des choses. Pour le ménage on n'a pas très bien compris, les frais de nettoyage sont inclus sur le tarif de base mais sur place on nous a demandé de payer en plus si on ne voulait pas le faire... Il y avait des moutons sous les lits, l'entretien extérieure laissait un petit peu à désirer (des ronçes autour de la piscine, l'herbe haute, des animaux de décorations cassés mais laissés dans l'herbe)... Heureusement une belle région et de belles choses à voir !

Très, très bon séjour dans une maison immense où nous nous sommes retrouvez comme à la maison. Tout est fait pour que l'on puisse partager confortablement de bon moments en famille ou entre amis. Je recommande vivement.

Muito bom!
A casa é muito bem distribuída e muito simpática no seu enquadramento rural. Paisagem magnífica e repousante, vista de todos os lados da casa, dos jardins e da piscina. Sossego...silêncio e sons da natureza. Ter uma piscina coberta garante animação certa, apesar de termos tido uns excelentes dias de sol e calor. A casa está dividida em duas casas, mas durante toda a nossa estada houve completo sossego e praticamente não nos cruzamos com os outros hóspedes, nem os ouvimos. Ter que levar lençóis é uma prática habitual em França, que os portugueses terão que se adaptar; mas pacífico... Marie Antoinette, a auxiliar, é 5 estrelas! Os arredores perto são também muito simpáticos e fica relativamente perto de Saint Jean de Luz, Biarritz, e do país basco espanhol também. Tem boas oportunidades de atividades diversas: golfe, gastronomia, natureza, igrejas, lago... Família numerosa (7!), bem acomodada. Ficamos todos com vontade de voltar :)
