Vanderbilt was very nice. Just little things like cleaning the coffee maker was not done. Some stuff like creamer were not given first yes then as days past they gave us less and less. This review is for them to fix this but otherwise staff and overall great stay

We stayed at the Condado Vanderbilt over NYE. Hotel was clean and nice. For a 5 star hotel the service was about a 2. Our first night I went to the bar at Ola for a drink. I sat at the bar for about 10 minutes and was completely ignored. I asked for a drink menu and was brought one and then the bartenders never came back to take my order. I left and went to the tacos and tequila bar. Food was great there. We went to Ola in the morning for the brunch buffet and everything was cold. The eggs, bacon, potatoes. The only thing that was hot was the bagel that I toasted on my own. I went and sat at the bar after getting my food, and no one brought me silverware or offered me a drink in the time that I sat there. I went and grabbed my own silverware, I took one bite of the cold food and left. The other issue we found was no one offered any information about how the pool chairs work. There are signs that say no reservations however, people will come down in the morning and put their stuff on the chair to reserve a chair. The building blocks the sun on half of the property, so everyone races to the chairs by the pool to reserve the chairs you’re not supposed to reserve…I was told I needed to move once and we were out of luck both days which was a bummer since we were there to relax in the sun. we ended up just going down to the beach. Room service food is also from Ola and about on par with a Wendy’s. Tacos and Tequila, and STK were great.

Great location and super nice people, but we had a buzzing noise all night in our room. Reported it and they came to ‘fix’ it but it wasn’t fixed. Breakfast is excellent and the staff around the pools is great. Took a while to get a drink on the veranda overlooking the water. The hotel is a little tired and could use a facelift. For the price I expect more!

We traveled with our 2 and 3 year old and had the best time! There is a separate adult area of the hotel and the non adult side still feels adult. We felt like we were still on vacation even though our kids were there. The food at the hotel was great. Beach was the nicest on the strip. Andliz and Michael were so helpful and nice. Gave us beach toys for our kids. I would not think about going anywhere else on the strip there. They all seem pretty ghetto. Only thing is the beach wasn’t swimmable for small kids. That is not resort specific though. It’s all of them.

We loved Vanderbilt. Beautiful, luxurious and kid friendly. My children enjoyed the pools, walking to the beach. We loved everything about this hotel.
