Some of the reviews made me concerned about my upcoming stay at Caribe Hilton in San Juan. There was no need for worry as our stay there was great! The hotel was very clean and I must comment on the awesome shower pressure! The food and drinks were very good. The location ideal for our trip. Many restaurant options. If you don't want a large meal, Ice Cream & Cookie Co at the hotel has good breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, cookies, You can walk around the corner to Fogo de Chao steakhouse, which was excellent! Across the street is a small store/restaurant called Cafe Tropical. They have delicious food and drinks! It is only 20 minute walk to downtown Condado and we felt very safe. Serafina restaurant was excellent. Ubers are only $5-10. I recommend Caribe Hilton!!

It was just ok. It was definitely not a 4.5 star hotel. Some of the staff were friendly and others were down right rude. Most did not seem to want to accommodate or help with the little things like ordering a drink or food. The food, once delivered was actually very good! There is nowhere to really walk the beach which was a bummer. Our room was really nice with great views and great bathroom sizes.

Overall nice hotel with pools and beach access. The location is beautiful. It's easy to access the old San Juan town from the hotel. We had a nice relaxing 4-day stay. There were a few things we did not like. The hotel does not seem to have sufficient food opportunities for their guests. The breakfast restaurant in the hotel opens at 7 am and immediately after opening a significant line formed. The seating process was slow. The beach was also crowded and could not really accommodate the number of guests. We had to reserve chairs at the beach early in the morning.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. Also, we appreciated the various seating options to enjoy the ocean. Only one staff member was short with us during check-in.

Shabby & dreary 75 years old 3 star hotel overripe for total renovation, price tag which is 3 fold exaggerated give wrong impression of top notch while in fact cheap property. Don’t waste your money, choose better hotel for half the price.
