The Matador is well located, being within easy walking distance from the Port of Sale, Gippsland Gallery and main street shops and cafes. The 3-bed room was spacious with a clean and functional en-suite. The room had a pleasant outlook and parking was easily accessible.
Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, being simple but quite adequate.
Our only quibble was the poor lighting over the small reading table.
We had a one night stay. Staff were very welcoming. Had not realised the property was double storied so had an issue with stairs. Our room was promptly changed to ground level. We had a very comfortable night followed by a good continental breakfast. Our thanks to everyone.
