Pelicans cottage is a luxury ,relaxing ,private,quiet ,fully self contained apartment that is in the front my renovated period house that has been divided into 2 apartments. It has its own street frontage ,front door with keypad entry and private garden with water views of the harbour and wood firePrivacy is assured check- in by keypad. Please read 5* reviews ! It is very close to the ferry and beach.
The location of Pelicans is excellent being in the Historic Harbour precinct . It has some water views of the boats in the Queenscliff harbour .The water is 50 metres away - excellent for fishing and strolls along the harbour to the restaurants at the marina and for Sorrento ferry ( every hour on the hour)
Pelicans is a newly renovated luxury apartment for 2 people with a queen bedroom and a seperate lounge/ dining/ kitchen room ( No oven and has small portable Induction cooktop) Your private verandah" room" is accessed from the living area and the bedroom. It overlooks the garden and has some views of the harbour. The lounge room has a cosy wood fire (winter only) air con (hot or cold)ceiling fans , mid century furniture,record player and overlooks the harbour which is 50 metres away.
Only 5 mins walk to Queenscliff Marina (360 Q restaurant) the Ferry to Sorrento and a short walk to Queenscliff village , beach and is ajacent to the Bellarine rail trail (bikes path) It is a short stroll to the Blues Train and Q dining train. There is excellent fishing from the nearby wharf . Fishing boats at the Harbour sell freshly caught fish.
It is ideal for a romantic getaway as with water views from the private verandah and lounge room - you can see, hear and smell the sea!
There is excellent Wi -Fi and phone reception and a Smart TV.

"Pelicans" has a library area and seating area in the lovely bay window - overlooking the garden and the harbour at the end of the street. Work while looking at the water !
The rooms are spacious and luxuriously appointed with original Artworks created by the owner in Queenscliff and a library.
The Queen bedroom has double doors opening to your own private verandah .
The lounge/dining/kitchenette (no oven) is open plan but seperate to the bedroom .There is a Bay window seat that has views to the harbour great for reading !
The bathroom has a walk in shower.
Luxury bed linen ( 1300 thread count) and towels . Wood fire in lounge ( not in summer )reverse cycle A/C. and ceiling fans in the bedroom and lounge room. All the windows open fully.
The Queenscliff beach is at the end of the street- a 5 minute walk .Fresh fish can be purchased from the boat in the harbour 70 metres away.
The Searoads ferry to Sorrento is a 5 minute walk through the harbour. The harbour marina has shops, cafes, fish restaurants ,a 360 Q viewing tower and fishing trips available.
The Bellarine Blues train is a 200 metres walk.
No need to use the car as the shops and restaurants in Queenscliff are a short 5 minute walk along the waterside path.
Queenscliff has 3 museums; The Fort, Historic ,and the Maritime. There are" swim with the dolphins Eco “tours that leave from the harbour near the apartment.
The water can be seen from the lounge room and verandah as it is only 50 metres away. Marine life including Pelicans, Stingrays, Seals and Dolphins can be seen in the harbour and surrounding water next to the apartment. It is next to the Geelong rail trail ( bike) and an easy walk along the harbour to the marina restaurants , harbour boating /fishing trips and the Searoads car ferry to Sorrento on the Mornington peninsula
The Queenscliff beach and park overlooking the Sea is a 50 metre walk.
Pelicans is a tranquil spacious apartment -a romantic retreat - and yet so close to all the action of Queenscliff. It has been recently renovated and has luxury furniture ,quality linen ,record player and artwork created by the Artist owner. The verandah is like another room - It overlooks the cottage garden and has some views of the harbour. The kitchenette has a microwave ,fridge, Nespresso machine and pods,electric pans ,toaster and a single induction cooktop.
