All in all royal is a great property. If you are looking for anything more then a 3*, find another place. The food is good, lots to choose from even on their theme nights, pools are great. Rooms are great, comfortable, again 3*, the grounds are great, the bar staff are super nice and friendly. Being able to walk to the gauntlet and around Bucerias is the selling point of this hotel. There was 13 of us, all in different blocks and will definitely come back

This property is at maximum a 2 star. Cheers to Expedia for the refund as we moved to the Hard Rork Vallarta. We took many photos of the Royal Decameron subpar rooms and food the beyond terrible

My husband and I have been to this property over twenty times. We reconnect with friends who also return every year. The property and staff make it feel so comfortable and social. This is an authentic Mexican resort in the most lovely way! If you are expecting a “Vegas” style hotel this is not for you! The food was much improved this year and breakfasts were superb! The resort also accommodates individuals with disabilities in all ways! As a result of the difficulties during Covid, the resort is short staffed and the grounds required some love to return to their original state. The beach is great. We WILL be returning next year!
