This property was a disappointment as I stayed at other properties locally. The price is right for a quick overnight no frills stay. The property is branded but doesn't have the professionalism you would see from a Hilton or Marriott property. Wyndham standards for franchisees have truly fallen.
Upon check in. The front desk agent, possibly hotelier treated the process as if he was a doorman to an exclusive club. His demeanor was very friendly but more party like. He explained that because I booked via Expedia. He needed a $150 deposit. But if I didn't book third party then s deposit wasn't needed. I agreed to this umforeseen circumstance. He then went into a special on how once we check out. The hotel releases the deposit but banks take up to 10 days to release. He continued on how people left bad reviews and personally came to the property to get thier money back.
Upon arriving to the room. Everything looked exceptional for the price. The room was outdated and reminded me of pre 2010 Marriott. Everything looked clean until we went into the bathroom. The har dryer area was covered in cut facial hair while the shower was filled with the previous guest hair. Yuck
The following morning we woke to the sound of a man talking !loudly in the hallway 7:15 am Sunday. He was looking out the window at the end of the hallway waving to someone below yelling. Well at least there was free breakfast which in these instances I call " breadfast". Essentially muffin, bagel. Toast.
