Staff kindly let us check in early to enable us to go to a function. We had our two little dogs with us and the back courtyard area was perfect for them. There were nice little touches like a cold drink and cold glasses in the fridge, mozzie spray, candles. The grounds and pool area are really special. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect.

A generous host who gives his utmost to ensure that everything that you would want is provided in accommodation needs. Lots of little extras that you never thought would be there.

Great position and private

best place to relax

Pros: rustic, peaceful, no kids, groovy atmosphere, love the colours
Location: Every restaurant in town was amazing, dont miss the cane toad racing at the Ironbar everynight, was very funny.
We wanted a romantic week away and this was the perfect place, adult only, no children and hardly anyone in the pool area, you can swim anytime of the night, no restrictions and the accommodation was so cool and rustic, perfect for us. Great spot, 1 minute drive to the town and so peaceful with an amazing garden setting in the courtyard. Great staff, they organise everything for you.

Everything and more

Pros: Just lovely and extremely private room set ups. A little oasis of lush tropical vegetation.
Location: Only 10 minutes walk to the beach and a comfortable 20 mins to Macrosen St.
They have thought of everything as this lovely little resort right down to personal sarongs in the rooms. Set in lovely tropical gardens each room has a private garden outlook and access to private BBQ facilities. The pool area is set among gardens and has a central BBQ for use by guests along with a fully loaded fridge of condiments for that once of use. A mini bar stacked with beer and soft drinks also resides nearby. Bikes are available for use by guests and they have an extensive range of DVDs for that night in. Highly recommend this place and will certainly be trying to get back there.

A wonderful hideaway.

Pros: The villas are brightly painted, and the gardens are lovely. Very peaceful.
Cons: Secure Car parking is limited and difficult to negotiate with a larger vehicle.
Location: 15 minutes walk to town, ten to the beach. A couple of wonderful restaurants nearby. Central and close to everything while being quiet.
We just loved the Pink Flamingo. It is modest accomodation but yet has everything we needed. The studio villas are set in a beautiful rainforest garden and are beautifully presented.

Pros: Child-free accommodation, self contained.
Cons: The people next to us slamming their front door when we were sleeping.
Location: Away from it all
Facilities: Home away from home; Value: Fantastic; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Immaculate; Port Douglas and Pink Flamingo were awesome...the best !

Cons: No worst thing
Location: Tranquil, Great, Just a short walk to town
Facilities: Everything u need is ther; Value: Fantastic, Absolute value for money; It is a tranquil place to stay. Very private, everything provided, easy to cook or BBQ. Pool area great, Wi Fi. Going back next year for much longer.
