Kelly booked post cyclone Jasper when we had no electricity and running water, meaning we were unable to safely accommodate her in accordance with government regulations. No power also meant the inability to go online and block out dates to prevent bookings. Kelly received free cancellation with full refund.While we sustained no real property damage and are able to continue business, the area has sustained flood damage to roads and infrastructure, with access now opened via the Julatten/Mt Molloy road and water expected to be back on within 24 hours from now.This has been my first opportunity to respond with electricity having been restored overnight.The Capt. Cook Hwy, between Cairns and Port Douglas, sustained major land slide damage and looks like being closed to traffic until around the end of January, according to preliminary reports.Please do consider supporting us during this event as we're ready to host a great stay in what is still and always will be, Paradise.

Thank you Peter. Everyone turned up with cars in the last two weeks, some with large utes that took up two spaces as parking skills appeared lacking. Of course we can't control driver skills.
