The location is one of the best for peace and quite. It's nice layout inside and out with direct access to the beach. The only disappointing aspect was the early closing time of the pool facilities.

We stayed 2 weeks here as part of the Phuket Sandbox program, when in Thailand we live in our apartment 6 km away. Being a business traveler I usually stay in 50 hotels per year yet none of them match the service I found at Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket. When entering our Premier Beachfront room we find a beautiful floral decoration on the bed, “ Welcome Mr Barrett”, this meant a great deal to me and made me feel very special. I have never seen staff and managers so well trained and so eager to assist in any way possible. The girl in the restaurant bar greeted us with her name, ‘I am Number 2” which then led to us finding a way to remember other staff members by number. Two concierge’s have been here most of their working life, we have ‘Number 34” and “Number 24” with 34/24 being the amount of years they have served this resort being a reflection of how well Dusit Thani must care for their staff. At dinner on day 3 a lady approached us asking if we would give feedback on our stay and do we have any issues with the resort, she was the “customer service manager”. I have never seen this in any other hotel. The main restaurant manager and staff were lovely and the food was excellent. Many thanks from us both to everyone involved, keep up the good work and brilliant 5 star service.

Pros: Not far from Patong mainstream or to get around (though walk outside near shops for taxi - much cheaper), fantastic beach, brilliant sunsets
Cons: Two teenage daughters were a little bored sometimes as we had just stayed near Splash Jungle water park which is a close & recommended visit with kids

Pros: The rooms were comfortable, and the resturants excellent.
Cons: Too far from most other things. One ride to anywhere was costly.
Location: Just right
Facilities: Above average; Value: Affordable; Service: Professional; Cleanliness: Lovely; Great for doing nothing and lying there all day everyday. But if you want to venture out of the resort, the cost of travel will add up fast.
