Hotel was very old, in need of outside remodeling. Parking was terrible and very limited. Also on steep hills , dangerous for walking. Rooms are very small.

Deflating

We had to sit around for 2 hours after check in time because our room wasnt ready. They said they were short on cleaning service staff. I had kids with me so we decided to use one of their beauitful pools. It was insanely cold in the water so now i had wet cold kida waiting for our room. We finally were able to get out room by 630. The hotel is beautiful... nestled into the mountains. Shuttle drivers and Valet were wonderful! A different pointe of view was wonderful. Room service for the kids was ok but we spent more on them then the "fine dining restaurant" The beds were so aweful we all got up as a family at 630 am and checked out early to go home. None of us slept. It was the last night of our week long trip and unfortunatly it was the worst. Deflating. I was rwally looking forward to ending it with a beautiful experience.

Great amenities and staff, the only reason it’s not above a 4 is that the place needs updating, built in 91…very steep roads as well, hiking is great, hitting the golf range as part of your fees is great and the restaurant at the top is amazing with the best views of Phoenix.

I paid for allergen free room. Upon entry you were hit with a choking stale, musty thickness that filled the air and made my chest feel tight. The carpet was filthy, chunks of balls of wet dust clumps on the pocket door, pillows sadly flat, comforter that hung out of the unfixed duvet, yellowed. There was hair along the baseboards in the bathroom, etc. Really gross. The pool cushions are in desperate need of replacement and the pool towels washed so many times, they were almost translucent. Being a Hilton, I didn’t hesitate to pay up, however, the joke was on me. I would never stay there again and at this point, I’d be extremely hesitant to book another Hilton after this experience. Nothing “allergen friendly” whatsoever about this room. Also, the horse manure stench around the waterfall pool, tennis & pickleball courts, and golf club was stifling some days.
