This is a large property with approximately 18 apartment builidngs on site. It's much different than any hotel I've ever stayed at. During the reservation process, you are required to upload your driver's license or ID and then take a picture of yourself to verify you are the person on the ID. After signing all disclosures, the property owners will send you a text message with your room and door code. The door code allows you into the building, as well as opening your room. The room itself looks like a small apartment, with a kitchen and sitting area, a bedroom, vanity area and bathroom. There are two closets with plenty of space. The bed was very comfortable, although I could probably have used a third pillow. There are flat screen TV's in the sitting room and the bedroom, but there were no remote controls for either TV. When I tried using the manual buttons to tune in channels, I only saw static. The three nights I stayed, I was not able to watch TV. I spoke with the property management when I checked out and they were aware there were no remotes. The soap, shampoo and conditioner provided are tiny and provide only one use, so if you're staying more than one day, bring your own supplies. Phoenix in generally is run down, and this area is no exception. Lots of homeless and riff raff walking around the streets, but I didn't see any on the property itself. I did spot a security guard in a golf cart but I'm not sure if there is 24/7 security.
