I reached out to the hotel to be closer to elevators and exits due to being on knee scooter. Instead I was placed in a room at the end of the hallway instead of near an elevator. Check in was okay. We were greeted with “The rooms are still being turned” instead of “let me look into that.” Our room was indeed ready but again the accommodations requested for my injury were not.

Better front desk service needed!
Overall good experience as a stay, however my check-in was delayed due to housekeeping being behind. I’m only acknowledging this because I reached out to the front desk twice within 72 hours of my check in time to confirm that I’ll be able to check in early (1 hour only) into my room due to my arrival time. I’m very understanding of operations being in the retail industry servicing others myself. So I’m only disappointed that this was told to me as possible but was not honored upon my arrival and I still had to wait. The young lady who checked me in also did not provide me with any guidance for assistance with my bags or where to park and any instructions regarding it, not even other amenities in the hotel. Typically things that a front desk concierge would assist a new guest with. This was very disappointing and affected my experience. Hopefully it can get better.

The room was nice, looked new, everything was clean. BUT: There is no on-site parking, which isn't mentioned. You have to park catty corner across the street. Sheraton will validate your parking, but expect to get accosted by panhandlers while you're hauling your luggage back and forth. Absolutely not recommended for women. The low-pressure shower automatically changed from warm to cold, encouraging a very short stay. The overhead light worked, but the lights between the beds didn't turn on, and the desk light and floor lamp didn't turn off (they had to be unplugged at night). The price was right, but too many other things were wrong.
