Perfect base
We booked the Rookery for my in-laws to stay at the weekend we got married. It was a perfect base for them with a great location near the beach. Eric was a superb host. Would definitely recommend.

Peace and Quiet
We loved the close proximity to the beach, which is our happy place. Also the privacy. It was a much needed rest for us, after moving countries and in transition between cultures, with all the upheaval 1 month after arriving. The hosts thought of all the wee extras which was lovely: Thank you so much to Eric and Linda. This wee break was very much needed by two weary persons.

We had a friendly and welcoming greeting on arrival with some tasty complementary camembert. The accommodation has a large private patio and is surrounded by trees and farmland with a good view of the sky and stars at night, the beach a 5 minute walk away, we had a pleasant stay away from the city
