The female manager was wonderful and very friendly. The rooms are ok but very tired looking. The bathroom needs re grouting etc and the walls were dirty in places. But the bed was comfy and I slept well.

Was just ok for a nights stay. Wish the heating had been on on my arrival even if just a tad warm. Will say room.warm quite quickly after is put it on full

Advertised as dog friendly but it isn’t.
We booked this because it is marketed as a dog friendly hotel. However dogs are not allowed in the dining room, so we were told to either eat in the lobby on a low coffee table or in our room. (Only one chair in the room and a desk) It should have been clearer on the booking form as we certainly wouldn’t have booked it. I understand that not everybody wants a dog in the dining room, but dog friendly hotel should have a room where dog owners can eat alingside their dogs with proper size table, not a coffee table in the lobby.

Customer service was brilliant, the decor need redoing, with scuff marks and dents on the walls going up the stairs, the carpets and fraying and the vinyl tiles are shrinking and lifting also the tv remote wasn’t working so the tv was stuck on bbc
