Cross Hotel is literally steps away from Shinsaibashi, Dotonbori and all shopping areas. It is quiet inside and bustling the minute you walk outside. Train station and taxi stand right in ffont of hotel. Don Q and similar shops are steps away so it is not too hard to carry stuff. Staff speaks a little English and they try their best to accomodate you. The room is small, typical of hotels in Japan. I recommend this hotel especially if it is your first time in Osaka.

I like that there was a place we could keep our bags for free before check in time. It wasn’t in a closed locker but I felt safe leaving my bags there. I didn’t have anything stolen. I also enjoyed the free toiletries. Our room had a direct view of the Glico Man sign.
