The staff were really friendly and always greeted you with a smile. Easy walking distance to Shin Osaka station. The room was considerably more spacious compared to other hotels. There was a delicious yakitori restaurant only a short walk away.

The room and bathroom were very clean, and the breakfast buffet was wonderful! I’m not sensitive to background noisiness so the trains passing by was not an issue at all for me, but if someone needed absolute quiet it might be a slight issue in the early hours. The staff were helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay again.

Close to Osaka Station for transfers and Shinkansen. Local trains close by. Friendly check-in staff. Pillows were not great, but asked the front desk and they supplied better pillows to us. Checked in a few hours early for a small fee which we didn’t mind paying. Breakfast was just okay so we ate elsewhere. Lots of food options nearby and 7-11 is a few minutes away for shockingly great prepared food options. Trains run behind the hotel so can be noisy, but I grew up next to train tracks so it actually helped me sleep.

The entire staff was cordial and exceptionally hospitable. Rin, in particular, stood out for his helpful and professional demeanor. He assisted us during both check-in and check-out, and when not engaged with guests, he could be found at the front counter warmly greeting visitors. We appreciated having access to the breakfast room for our dinners, and the availability of tea and coffee throughout the day added to our enjoyment. Despite the potentially dim path to the hotel, we felt secure throughout our stay. Without hesitation, I would choose to stay at this hotel again.

When you stay in a budget hotel you have to be realistic about what you get for what you pay. I have stayed at numerous cheap business hotels around Japan (especially APA) and I would choose the Comfort again. This particular property is very new at time of my stay, and every room is non-smoking with good wifi, small refrigerator and USB sockets. Even a USB charger cable. The bed was comfortable and reasonable floorspace (again more than APA). Breakfast was basic but did have sausage, egg and bakery for the Europeans, who seemed to make up a relatively large proportion of guests. On the downside, one reason it is cheap is the location immediately beside ShinOsaka station railtracks. I had a regular economy room and in advance requested a room at the front side but it seems that only large rooms (twin and family size) are on that side. However they did put me up on the 13th floor so not so bad. The window opens so you can get fresh air but the trains are quiet only 1am to about 5:30 so assume you'll have to get up and close it in the morning. Convenient short walk from the station, leave by central exit ground floor under the taxis.
