We had stayed here in early 2020 and rebooked for March 2024 based upon that wonderful stay. However, we noticed a decline over these years. Upon entering our king studio we immediately noticed an offensive odor that seemed to be from previous guests’ food (it eventually dissipated). Additionally we noticed the main part of the room was dated looking in decor and colors. The bathroom has had a nice update. There was an inadequate supply of bath linens (1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 2 bath towels, and no bath mat) for which we asked for more the next day; we received a full set of linens. The unit had only 1 USB plug that was in an “old-school” clock that had a charging unit for an iPhone 3. No housekeeping service was provided during our 4 night stay. Upon inquiring we were told one needs to stay for 5 nights in order to have housekeeping come. We won’t be returning.

Not a typical hotel…
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests are invited to attend a 90-minute meeting where they are encouraged to become a shareholder/owner/member in exchange for a $200 visa gift card or other incentives. During this time, guests are provided with some reading material to look over while they wait for their room to be ready. It's worth noting that the rooms are not stocked with typical hotel amenities and guests must either buy from the hotel shop or visit a nearby store, which can be inconvenient and expensive. The hotel's onsite restaurant is delicious, but prices for food and other items at the hotel shop are extremely high. For instance, a chicken salad sandwich costs $13, which is unreasonable. The hotel does not have a traditional shuttle service, instead, they use a bus that runs at specific times to take guests to attractions like Aquatica and Seaworld. However, if guests need to return to the hotel before the bus runs, they are left with no other option than to pay inflated prices for an Uber or walk back. Despite these issues, the hotel grounds are pleasant, the pools are relaxing, and the screened-in porches in the rooms are an enjoyable feature. However, guests are often hounded to attend meetings, and it's important to keep in mind that the rooms are dated. All things considered, the hotel is a nice place to stay, but guests might want to bring their own food and drinks to avoid the high prices and inconvenience of having to buy from the hotel shop.

It is a time share operation. We didn't take the sales pitch. This property is old and dated. It is clean. Our view was of a couple of tress and a construction site. In the Smith complex. As far away form check in you can get. Plenty of parking and a lot of stuff in the area to do if you have kids. Right next door to Sea World.

Very nice resort, but the rooms has privacy issue where you can hear the guest next room. As he is sitting with you. I was taking a nap and the man next door sneezed was so close to the point he woke me up.
